The PHG Foundation is a non-profit organization which was founded in the fall of 1991 by the community of local artisans. Today the PHG Foundation continues to sponsor Arts and Crafts in the public parks in Honolulu. Notably the Christmas Craft fair in Thomas Square park.
The PHG Foundation has been active in donating to the Arts, through our "Lauren Lo Levin Memorial Fund.", The Foundation has worked with "Hawaiian Alliance for Arts in Education" whose goal it is to return arts to the public classroom. We have also worked with the Kennedy Center for Arts Education."
As a member of the Kennedy Center for Arts Education Network, the Hawaii Arts Alliance is a statewide non-profit that ensures the arts are integrated into the educational system, advocates for creative opportunities for all artists and arts groups, and utilizes the power of the arts to develop strong and sustainable communities. |
We continue to contribute to our endowment fund, supporting the return of the visual arts to schools. we will be sponsoring the "Handcrafters and Artisans Alliance," a group of exceptional Artisans and Hand-Crafters.
